Have you ever felt worried about violence in or around your school?

For far too many students around the world, school is a dangerous place.

Globally, half of students aged 13 –15, about 150 million, report experiencing peer-to-peer violence in and around school.

Slightly more than one in every three of these students aged 13 to 15 – experience bullying and roughly the same proportion (one in three) are involved in physical fights.
Nearly 750 million school-aged children live in countries where they are not fully protected legally from corporal punishment at school.
Nearly 500 attacks or threats of attack on schools were documented or verified in 18 countries and areas in 2016.
